Whitehouse Analytical Laboratories is a GMP-compliant, FDA-regulated and inspected testing facility serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other FDA regulated industries. Vacuum Instrument Corporati on has installed their MS-40 Dry Helium Leak Detector at W.A.L.'s NJ location.

The Helium Leak Detector will allow Whitehouse Analytical Laboratories to test for leaks in pharmaceutical packages as small as 4x10^-11 atm cc/sec for their clients. The MS-40 senses leaks by nondestructively introducing the package to a vacuum and utilizing specially tuned mass spectrometer to detect even the smallest amount of Helium leakage. The instrument is currently going through a formal IQ/OQ/PQ qualification process at W.A.L.
